I can't believe you don't have a loaner car or something. I am still waiting for my 2013 XLT to get to Colorado from their dealership in New Mexico. Was supposed to be here Monday so when we did the deal Saturday they gave me a loaner for a couple days. Well Monday turned to Tuesday and that turned into Thursday (today) afternoon if we are lucky. I told them I have to make a 250 mile round trip this weekend and will be taking it in their loaner if my truck doesn't get here by then. They are fine with that but will try to get me my truck by then

My loaner is a brand new fully loaded 2014 Lariat with about 16 miles on it. I would have been fine with something off the used lot but they wanted me to have something comparable to what I bought. That is what a great dealer does to create long time customers.

Your dealer OBVIOUSLY hasn't gone to bat for you. That doesn't let Ford off the hook but if the dealer was doing their job I think this would be resolved.

At this point they should give you a new truck and give you the satisfaction of pushing the button that crushes that POS you have now.

I'm still here, marauder11. I was out of the office yesterday, but I'm back.

Hi Al Kohalic. Trust me when I say that this is definitely being looked into by the appropriate people.

Hi GhostintheMachine.

I'm still working on this. I've been in touch with your Ford Canada rep and we're doing everything possible to get you back on the road. I'll make sure you get an update as soon as possible.

I agree that one needs to be used for training so someone can learn how to do repairs. It's pretty obvious training on diagnosing problems is needed.

Nissan put a new engine in after the dealership forgot to put oil in on the FIRST oil change. Any type of liquid line they disconnected leaked, wire looms not used or missing, hood not lined up correctly etc.....I can only imagine the mess that's going to be under that hood when all is said and done.

that's the question I have too, Ghost has been making his payments on a truck he can`t even drive it, and even use is it as intended, Alan Mulally should call him directly and apologize and say, I will personally take care of it , and you can have any brand new F150 you want, and we will put it on a semi truck and have delivered to your house. What happen to customer service

Obozo and the UAW ruin ''Govt. Motors'' for me,,this thread has soured me on Ford. A Dodge here in the south is like having a black G/F,, pretty good but nobody wants to be seen with her. Toyota and Nissan,, your turn.

Ashley, I don't want to sound rude but if this were being looked at by the appropriate people why isn't he driving a loaner or in a new/new to him truck by now? I understand it is up to the dealer where he purchased the vehicle to provide him with a loaner but clearly they are incompetent and Ford needs to step up and tell them how to handle this situation or handle it themselves. With that said, it is nice to have you here to monitor this situation and thanks for taking the time to address the issues as best you can.

Ashley
DISLIKE "get you back on the road."

They arent going to give him a new truck. They are going to shaft him with a POS that will likely blow again and has a negative resale value. You couldnt pay me to take that truck.

Buncha bs IMHO
