Ya I understand. I'm also not getting a whole lot of communication out of ford so shrug.

I hadn't really thought of it no. I suppose it's worth a try.

My Ecoboost threw a fan blade through the radiator while driving down the hi way and the ford house told me I chopped up an animal or something. Supposedly that is what caused the blade to fail so I had to pay 1400 out of my pocket to fix it. What I wanted to know is what the animal did for 30 mins before he jumped into my fan. I feel like ford gave me the run around then and they are defiantly doing this to ghost. I have always stuck with ford, just reading this makes me sick. I applaud you ghost for not going Postal on someone because reading this makes me want to!

Came on here hoping to see good news but guess not. Can't express how sorry I'm to learn what you had to go through Ghost. It's outrageous how the executive office gave you hope and something to hold onto but ended up being a waste your time, again. Like others said the media has to be interested in this story by now. "Ecoboost engines go bad before the motor oil does" would make an interesting headline for truck magazines. Maybe if you create a nice enough website you could even make a living off sponsorship from other manufacture on each motor you blow and document in the future... Sorry cant help the sarcasm anymore at this point...

This makes me sick. I can't even imagine what I'd do in that situation. It's up to ford to make this right for you. If they don't, they'll lose a ton of customers, lots who have been long time customers. I haven't been thrilled with ford's customer service before when I've had issues, and this is just icing on the cake. I'm blown away that a company that focused so much on customer service and fairness could be so jaded this time around. At this point ford could still come back and treat you right, but that's unlikely.

If each Ecoboost crate engine costs $17k, ford has put $51k into a $35k truck..dafuq!!

Thats probably where it is going to end up anyway. I tell everybody I know about what's going on with Ghost.
With the experience I've had and what I've read on this forum I'm going to have a hard time buying another Ford product.

Ghost, since your truck has been in and out of the dealership so often, how many customer survey's have they sent you?
