Is the engine issue fixed?

I'm very thankful that I've never had to endure an issue like this. I've owned a lot of vehicles, and never had much of anything go wrong (except for a Chrysler I bought and ended up selling because it was a POS).

Sad to hear Ford never stepped up and made things right for you.

I would dump that truck in a heartbeat before it blows another engine!

This is a most shi**y ride. Ironically, replacement #1 was done at the dealer where my '02 F350 came from. "Shady" is a word that could likely be used to describe them.

One of the problems here is that there aren't 5 dealers in every small town. In Whitehorse, we have one dealer. The next closest? Fort St. John, BC. That's another 1300+ km south (800mi) of me. I bought my last truck in Edmonton, and on the next one I'll give the dealer a crack at it even being a 2-day drive away.

If this were to happen to me, I'd be cutting my losses and picking up either a Raptor or stepping in to a Ram 25/3500 with a 6-speed stick and a Cummins.

It sucks when you love the brand, but can't stand the service.

The latest engine lasted 4500 kms.

I drove home from work last night and was maybe 20 minutes from home when the truck went all wacko. Gauges bouncing everywhere. Made some horrible noise from the rear end and poof. It puked its guts on the highway.

Towed to the nearest dealer and a 175 dollar cab ride home at 4 am.

I've decided to just keep driving this truck. I hope it blows 1000 engines and ford can replace every single one on there dime. When the warranty expires I'm going to stop payment.

If Ford decides to man up and help me out I will let them and stay brand loyal.

If not Ill never buy another **** heap ford.

Holy cow... so, that is now three engines down? Hope it ends up costing ford more than an entirely new truck to replace these engines. I'd do the same, keep costibg them money until they have had enough.

Reading your sig really pisses me off. I can't even have a truck that moves under its own power hahaha.

And ya engine 1 came in the truck, engine 2 went poof, engine 3 went out last night. This will be engine 4 going in.

Wow, must of us would be in lock and load mode right about now. There is a Ford rep that just joined today representing Ford Customer Service, maybe see can look into this and get answer on why Ford won't get you out of that truck.

Disclaimer.

I'm guessing the engine has failed. It totally lost power as in no go at all, fluids everywhere, and no crank.

Like I said it made some violent noises, gauges went nuts bouncing everywhere, and then total loss of power.

I really think its the drivetrain that's causing this. Especially after the show last night.
