I know you probably weren't in a good mood when you posted that, but that made me laugh. Haha.

For the guy who was doubting you....I wonder if he works for ford? Sounds to me like we should skeptical about him, not about this thread.

I kind of picked up that vibe off him too.

Either way the man asked for proof and he has it.

I appreciate the paper work.

Skeptical. Learned that from my wife. Especially on the internet.

I don't work for Ford. I do drive an EB that gets crazy good fuel mileage and has been nothing but perfect so far.

Some of you guys sound like you work for Ram or Chevrolet. EB BS? Most EB owners are very happy with their vehicle.

Why did it take so long to post paperwork? It makes you look bad.

It didn't take him that long. He wasn't able to post it himself hence why he had other people do it. The big issue is Ford has been acting shady throughout this situation.

If you read the thread I'm posting from my phone.

Laptop is ironically in my truck.

Glad you are having great luck with your Eco.

Mine has blown up twice. I think the comments calling my truck a pile of **** are pretty warranted.

About a week ago engine #2 let go. Ford has not yet replaced that engine. It's still in the truck at the dealer which is located 12 hours from my home.

The service manager called me to let me know it would be a full warranty replacement and that engine 2 seemed to go out in the same way as engine #1.

They're waiting for a new long block to be delivered from Ontario. I believe he said Barrie Ontario but unfortunately for me I don't have phone transcripts for you to read.

So just so were clear. Engine 1 (the one that comes in a vehicle when you purchase it) blew. Engine 2 (the one they installed after engine 1) has blown.

My truck will be on engine 3. Isn't math fun.

I had a similar experience a couple of years ago in my boats motors. We have twin 350hp crusaders in the boat, after about 2 months, the port engine blew, we got another engine put in, warranty. A month later the engine was done, (new block). Picked her up left the shop, made it about an hour away (by water @ 15 Knots) then the engine blew again, was not fu& we were not happy (i Know how ya feel). The third time we went to another shop/dealer. The replaced the engine again, 3rd engine now (or block rather). The new shop found that the reason the engines were blowing cause of a bad fuel pump, fuel was leaking/being pumped into the crank case (or something like that forget exactly).

It turns out the first dealer didn't look at the whole engine/parts and was just replacing the block. The second dealer actually identified why the engine was blowing. Point being, I find it hard that the "ecoboost" is at fault, i think its more an installation/dealer problem.

I still think ecos are badass. Just not mine.

Also would you not agree that my trade in value being hurt because the truck is a pile of **** lemon that ford can't fix isn't really fair?

The truck is loved, maintained, and looked after. Why should I lose 10 grand on it?

Thinking of buying something else and letting ford know they can have their truck back.

Sorry to hear about your issues. Personal opinion here...

Engine one blew because of your fuel system.

Engine two blew because the dealer (not ford necessarily) did not diagnose the problem and just replaced the broke part to get you on the way.

Now the current dealer has identified the problem so you "should" be good to go after the new engine.

Your truck isnt a lemon so you can tell that salesman to shove off.

Wait till your truck is repaired before trying to trade it if you want. I'm sure everything would be good after the new engine install.

Just for community knowledge, dealer service departments dont make money on warranty repairs so in this case its apparent to me that they got the job partially done by getting a new engine in the truck but they didnt want to spend the money on diagnosing the cause. Just my opinion.

To answer your question about the FX4, I believe they all come with the hill decent assist.

Also you probably have the option to have ford buy back the truck. I actually got asked by a dealer the other day because of a horrible survey i sent in on my wifes new mustang if she wanted to have them buy back and try again with them.
