The key to easy changing of the oil is to put the front end up on ramps so the oil filter drainage runs backwards along the baffle toward the rear spout. Changing the oil with all four wheels flat leads to oil coming out both the front and rear spouts. You can also stick a five-gallon bucket under the drain plug and rear baffle spout with the front end up on ramps. That is very helpful as you have nearly two gallons of oil to drain.

I don't think any manufacturers use "break in" oil these days.
Tolerances are so tight now it's not necessary.
That's what my dealer said also.
