Default 2012 fx4 ecoboost

i found a nice ecoboost here in corpus christi for about 40000 loaded. after doing some research on the problems im having second thoughts on buying it. Reliability is my biggest concern because i drive out of town for work and am on the road constantly. Has anyone had a truck not run at all. im afraid Found On Road Dead may be true.

tranny shudder under load
PCM reflashed (TSB 11-10-15
ecoboost intercooler condensation

any other problems that i didnt find?
i love the way the truck looks but i dont want the issues. i really dont have time for my truck to sit in the shop. any good advice would be appreciated. thanks

It's a solid motor bud. I tow a bassboat for a living I've put 15k on mine 75% pulling and my truck runs like a champ, never had a second thought about my purchase

Maybe I bought a lemon. Most people are very happy with their TT motor. I've had mine in to the dealership 3 times ... two tuning flashes and one of the turbos was replaced Tuesday. It's bucking like a wild horse worse than ever. I have not even had the chance to pull anything with it and I'm losing money because that's what I do for a living. I'm taking it back to request a new truck.

Remember that Ford is selling around 50,000 Eco-boost trucks a month. And you're hearing from just a handfull of owners with problems. Very small percentage.

I've got a 2012 FX4 and I've had zero problems. I agree with raven7usa, it's a very very small percentage of owners having trouble. No one goes on the forums and posts about a perfect truck.

Exactly. Go on dodge, Chevy, Toyota and you will see they have issues as well. Mass produced items by the hundreds of thousands are bound to have few bad apples. Most people come to these forums to express problems and not rave about how great their trucks are. Also some of those complaining I feel are suffering from imagination issues as well. They read all the negatives and start to think they have same problems others are having. But yes there are people that really do have problems. Not all are imagined.
