Who has the optional geared 4.10 in their eco, and what are your thoughts or opions of it?

I have them on my 2012 FX4 and love them. You take a hit in mileage with them but towing is a dream. After towing my tractor with my buddies 3.55 FX4 and then mine it was night and day. One of the best things I checked off on the order form.

I got it with the idea that I would be good to go when I wanted to upgrade to 35's. Almost two years later I haven't done it yet. Pretty sure I've taken a hit on milage as i run under what the general consensus seems to be on fuel economy here. However it is hard for me to gauge since I do mostly around town driving with round trips of 10 miles or so. It is very quick though.

i was wondering how they ran at the track i kinda figured they might perform pretty well maybe better than the 3.55 and 3.73 but idk. I didnt see any in the ecoboost mods and track times thats all

Only made one pass with it stock. 2012 FX4 Supercrew EcoBoost bone stock.

Made first pass stock then 2 back to back tuned. Truck was heat soaked and not pulling on top end.

that's really quick one of the fastest times I have seen for a stock eco, so the 4.10's don't hurt them as much as ppl think. Thanks for the info cause I think im gonna get ford to warranty me a set and replace my 3.55
