Default F-150 progress reports.

So am I understanding this correctly. The 5.0's are delivering the lowest ET's and the best fuel mileage reports? Must be a lot of broken hearts since 2011.

The lowest ET's with a few thousand dollars of mods doesn't make me jealous in the least, and it still isn't rated to pull 11K. I think you may be trying to stir the pot.

Mods? All I ever heard two years ago was wait until the EB tunes hit the market , that the potential would blow away the 5.0. Now this........and how about the fuel mileage, it turns out the 5.0 gets better MPG towing....... and if I wanted to tow 11K a 1/2 ton truck would not be my solution.

I don't know where you are getting your info. The towing mpg was debated for a long time until folks started towing and reporting. They are essentially the same towing and driving, but the EB blows away the 5.0 for towing power. Stock ET is better with the EB and for $400-600 in tunes smokes a tuned 5.0. It takes a supercharger on the 5.0 to beat the EB.
Actually, I am not sure why I am even having this discussion. Anyone?

Yes I have towed lots of times in the rain. I have a 34 ft. travel trailer that grosses about 10K and just this past summer towed it about 2300 miles on our annual summer vacation.
This is a 2013 F150 Platinum Ecoboost with a 3.31 rear end with a fiberglass cap on the bed and airbags.
I have it tuned with a SCT tuner and Mikes 87 perf/tow tune.

Saying you have to supercharge the 5.0 is sorta null and void since the Eco is twin turbo'd... An until someone is able to upgrade the Eco fuel system the 5.0 will be able to stomp on the Eco with a supercharger ... Ethier way it's a money game... Dollar for dollar to a point the Eco is easier to get power out of... But the sound of a 6 isn't my cup of tea so ima dump a lil more coin in my 8 an supercharge it with factory fuel pump and higher flow injectors and walk all over every other pick up on the road

Of course and no problem since I switched to SSI tunes. I tow a 9500 lb fifth wheel for over 11,000 miles so far. Just about to turn 50K on the truck.
