Default Ethanol Free gas in MN???

I want to first start off by saying that I have done A LOT of reading and calling multiple dealerships about this. I want to know if anyone in the state of Minnesota is anyone running or has tried Non-Oxy (91 octane Ethanol Free Gas) in there truck to get better mileage. I know its been brutally cold here the last few weeks so getting the vehicle up to operating temperatures has been difficult before getting to your destination.
Everything I read ethanol free gas IS better for fuel mileage but this leads to the question does the cost overturn the benefits? If I am not worried about cost per say should I be running this fuel in my truck? Avg. 87 E10 here is 3.19 and Avg Non Oxy 91 E0 is 3.79 which is 17% more cost.
Also all the dealerships in my area can barely tell me the difference between 87 and 92 octane and continue to tell me what does your owner manual say?
Last I called Ford directly and they claim that NO research has been done with E0 fuels and I asked why you recommend it or at least why does the gas “cap” say E0-E15!!?? And the phone went silent. So they were no help.
Any help on this would be great. Thanks in advance. Any one from MN with real world numbers would be even better.

This had been covered quite a bit. Yes you well get 5-15% better mileage. But odds are you will lose money since it generally costs 40-60˘ more per gallon.

I get ~1.5 mpg better on ethanol free 93 octane. But I lose money every time.

Go to pure gas.org They have a listing of stations in each state which sell real, non-ethanol gas. I agree with packplantpath though-cost differential is pretty stout.

Even though you are loosing money you still run this gas!? I dont know if am worried about the money aspect. Guys here spend hundreds to thousands of dollars here buying after market tuners CAI's exhausts to get better mileage that they will never recuperate those savings in what it cost them to purchase those items, while they own there truck. So if am willing pay more money at the pump so I can get better mileage and better performance out my truck I guess its worth it. I have done the math and live 2 blocks from an ethanol free/non oxy gas station so its not out of my way to get it. I am going to run a couple tanks worth to get a good average and post back.

I should make sure I am more specific when I say better performance... I mean gas mileage because the vehicle is more efficient to get this mileage... I am not saying I am gaining HP or TQ which tuners CAI and exhaust do

No I don't use it still. Tried a few times to test. Couldn't break even so quit using it.

I thought all fuel in mn by laws was 10% corn. You can use all real fuel if you have a matron cycle, Lawnmower, etc....

Until someone comes out to stop the pump mid-fill, I'll still use the non-eth premium when towing.

Who is going to stop you when you can pay at the pump and fill after store hours? Are these clerks really going to come out stop you during hours? If the fuel is offered at the pump why and stop people from fueling up?
