Hmmm sounds like bs.. sound clips or it didn't happen. I doubt your eco is going out only after 103k.

Now that's an interesting idea! My hesitance to stay with Eco is purely out of fear my problems will continue. It's been nothing but drama since right before the warranty was up. I'd like to go 100k without any issues.

Total bs! I just want to invest more for the fun of it!

I hope your experience goes better than mine! I was in Eco love till 50k.

Took it in to check on that and they're saying no leaks just both turbos need replaced.

It started out with just a little noise on start up but going down the road they make all sorts of embarrassing noise.

One thing that I thought sounded interesting was ford saying the turbos have no serviceable parts. Anyone know if that's true? Just seems like they should be able to be rebuilt.. But then again I have very little experience with turbo'd vehicles.

Sure they can. Garrett made them. Contact them. Or better yet, get a hold of fullrace motorsports and have them rebuild them BETTER for you.

They are Borg Warner turbos. I think you would have about $1500-1600 in buying two turbos. Not including install.
