Default electric fan on intercooler for in city traffic

Has any one tried a electric fan on Ecoboost intercooler for keeping it cooler while in city traffic ? either switched or thermostat, Buick GN,s had one on theirs driven by crankshaft to help with this, I use snow perf boost cooler meth/water kit, it helps cool intake once under boost , but it would be nice to keep intake air cooler while in stop and go traffic

Doesn't help much, my GN gets heat soaked way more than my Ecoboost does on hot humid days.

If you want really cold air to the motor especially in city traffic get a water to air IC and hook up a killer chiller.
