Ecoboost waste gate/bov problem

"Pure Awesomeness"
My 2013 ecoboost had the engine light come on after plugging my block heater in one day when it was -40 here. as soon as my engine light came on i had less power and my turbo was making the same chriping sound as in the video.
as soon as i took it to the dealer and they reset the computer seemed to go away. The 2013 have the electronic BOV though.

I have had two diffrent tunes that produced the problem. Both updated for the y-pipe. It sounds to me like the bov is Opening and closing rapidly dumping boost then building boost again. Only really happens under 1500 rpm when the torque converter is locked , on a hill or towing when the truck tries to build More boost to maintain speed. I never thought about the timing chain but it would make sense for the scenario . Anyone know how I would go about checking the timing ?
I currently have 72,000 miles on the truck. Since it doesn't do it stock, the dealer can't repeat it and I can't just walk into the dealer and suggest they check the timing chain? What's involved with that anyway?
Not sure what to do, but I'll be watching this thread for suggestions.
Edit: I've had no codes thrown, and I run 93 octane whenever I can get it, even though I'm currently tuned for 87.

Same here - all aftermarket tunes cause this issue on my truck. I've mainly noticed it after getting on the throttle, then backing off slightly, but not completely - the BOV just stays open until I fully let off.

This too. Between you and pby98 in the previous few posts, you guys have described exactly the issues I've been experiencing.

You'd think so, and I initially did, but the fact that it occurs on ALL tunes, regardless of tune company (MPT, SSI, 5*, etc) makes me think it has something to do with the engine. It also occurs on canned SCT tunes, but to a much lesser extent. Maybe it's also occurring stock but is so attenuated that it's not noticeable?
