Ecoboost w/ leveling kit and 33s on here?

At this point I had Nitto Terras, 305/60-18's. Avg. mpg was 14. 13 city, 15 highway best. It has a Bilstein setup front and rear. No lift blocks.
Switched to Toyo MT's in 33x12.50-18. Now I get 12.5 in town, 12.5-13 on the highway. If I set cruise to 70, I can eek it up to 13.5-13.9. Hand calculated. Speedometer spot-on, verified by GPS.
I'd say go with the 5.0. They're proven to get better mileage under load.

I am currently looking to get a F-150 Crew Cab and debating going with the Eco or 5.0.. Me coming over from driving diesels the last 7 years. The Eco feels more like a diesel with the TQ coming on 2000-2500 RPM's, and touchy throttle compared to the 5.0 that I test drove last week. So I'm leaning towards the Eco, plus the claim of better mileage than the 5.0.. Of course purchasing a suspension once I buy the truck.
BTW your screen name looks familiar. You by chance used to drive a Cummins and on Cummins forum sites?

I'm surprised the mileage dropped with only 33" tires. Especially highway speeds. The turbo's must spool high with a small load (aftermarket tires and wheels) at cruising.

And yes, I was on some Cummins sites. I had a '03 305/555 and a '07 5.9.
Man do I miss 'em! But work wouldn't allow me the budget for a new Cummins, so I got a pretty loaded EB instead.

Yeah, that torque sold me. Overall the truck is ok, but if I had to pay for gas I'd be pissed that I have an Ecoboost. Seems like the 5.0 is the way to go.

BTW, I was firemandiesel on DTR, TDR and Cummins Forum. I think we threw PM back and forth on suspensions.

Kind of like Cummins trucks starting with the 2004.5 5.9 motors with 325hp. Some trucks were 'good ones' with great mileage, others not so much. Not sure why, it just was what it was. My '03 305/555 got 18.5-19mpg with 35x12.50 Toyo MT's, hand calculated and verified by GPS. My '07 got 12-13 at the same speed with the same tires, same rear end ratio. Go figure...
Luck of the draw I guess.

2011 SCREW 4x4 3.73 Rear 34" Nitto Trail Grapplers with Rough Country 2.5" Leveling kit
Ride is a little rough under tow (19' Fiberglass Center Console w/115 HP 4 Stroke) thinking about replacing the factory block with a 3" block to assist with that.

Any TPM problems with the bigger tires
I am thinking about putting 275/65r20 on my lariat oem 20's. I am wondering if this will throw off the tire pressure sensor? if so how do i fix it. the tires are 80 psi max.
