So you think after all these miles and time with the tune that it magically just started adding timing lately? Its bad gas and poor maintenance. Change your plugs, your fuel, and party-on, Garth

Sounds like that to me too. Of course some would tell you it has to be the LMS tune that caused it.

Simple spark knock from bad gas. Nothing more.

Will do Cap! Ill run by dealership and pick up a new set of OEM plugs.

Guys are having good luck with Brisk Racing plugs. I'm probably going to ditch the stock plugs I've had in for 3,000 miles and get those.

I don't know if I would spend $65+ shipping on a set of plugs, the Autolites work great. I just changed mine out after 20K of HARD abuse of 20+ PSI and lots of nitrous without issue. Replaced them with the same one step colder plugs for under $40.00 locally. On the other hand I've been considering them due to the hype recently. We'll see

I just replaced my stock plugs with the Brisk RR14YS and gapped them to .025. The plug is one step colder. Awesome plugs.

You could be fine running a 91 tune with 93 gas.

Throw a little blue pill in the tank, take the wife for a ride and see if she notices a difference.

More seriously, there seems to be a flaw in Ford's 100,000 mile recommendation for plugs on the EB. Several members have posted that theirs were toast at 30 - 40K miles.
