Nothing to do with air flow. Ummm, ok then. If you work at a garage, please let me know where so I don't bring my to truck you. Thanks.

Some how I doubt an engine a twin turbo charged engine has issues with flow... That would probably be a waste of time for ford just for that reason.... However trying to keep their truck as quiet as possible makes a lot more sense. Intake noise is very annoying.

When air spins thru the vortex it becomes condensed/cooler. This helps the engine make more usable HP. Remember you own one of the most advanced engines ever. The flame spray technology for cylinder wall is way out there and will become the standard for all engines also rebuilds.

Innovative yes, especially on a 1/2 ton, new to the market absolutely not. They have been turbocharging for 50 years.

I believe the intercooler handles this quite well.

The new Ford Flame Spray engine line is new technology. The turbo will compress the cooler condensed air with better efficiency/quicker response. Intercooler cools down very hot charged air. If you are driving across a very hot blacktop the air may be 130 degrees and by vorticing the air condenses and cools giving a better volumn for the turbo to charge more eficiently and the intercooler to cool for injection under pressure to the motor. Ford has released data stating the Turbo temperature 1750 degrees and the intercooler cools the charged air befor injecting it into the engine. It's not fuel spraying technology its a technology called flame-spray and it puts a cyl wall coating on the bore of the new aluminum motor line. It is developed by ford and Flame-Spray and is patented. Gm is developing its own version. Caterpillar is using the technology for remanufacturing purposes at this time and remanufacturing remains a real deal for the future. Forgive the typo ment for hot gases introduced into the exhaust system.

Obviously not. Please educate me. I would love to know how Ford came up with fuel spraying technology. Next lets get Al Gore up in this **** to teach us how he created the internet!!! It will be a knowledge party for us all!
