Default HF cat smell

I just removed my MAK offroad pipe because the smell was very bad in the cab.
I want to know if the HF cat smell bad just like the offroad pipe?
I am very interest to SW kit but i just want to make sure it will not smell in my cab.I try to put the air to recirc but not perfect. And the Difference Between HF cat and No cat are not so big in HP
Thanks to you

Mmmmmmmm. The smell is the best part of catless pipes!

The high flow cats will smell. Not as bad but they will smell much stronger than stock.

We have done various installation of our Off-road Y-Pipe with Stock, Custom, and Stainless Works Catbacks. None of those combinations has ever produced a noticeable smell inside the cab of the truck. I have even left them on idle inside the shop for a bit and havent noticed enough of a smell to raise concern, more than likely you have an exhaust leak somewhere in the system that is venting fumes.

Ok but i check everywhere and there is no leak the only place i can see where i can have a leak is on the engine because the guys at the garage who installed it dont put the adapter and put it in the garbage but here is the winter. And normally when the hot hit the cold you can see it whit fume. And i change the clips under for large strap clip.
And it fit very bad whit my flo pro and i put hight temp silicone. I just dont know what think!!!
That is why i want to change my offroad pipe to put HF pipe.
And personnaly i prefere stainless but when i bougth it i didn t know you made it in stainless.
And one other thing is the offraod pipe made a inferno drone in my truck even whit a diesel 4" resonator i tow each day of the week and it s very bad to me

I think everyone that has catless pipes can vouch for the smell. It's a catless thing not a leak issue. You can only tighten and adjust so much. If I start my truck in my garage without the recirculating AC button on the smell fills the cab very quickly. If I'm cruising down the street it doesn't matter if the recirculating AC button is pushed or not, I smell nothing. In park I smell nothing as long as the recirculating button is pressed. Crash, good luck with your purchases. I hope it works out for you.

No smell in the cab for me. Solo HF cats. I can smell it a little more than stock but only while outside. I think the off road pipes would smell significantly more than the high flow. You should definitely check out solo, I love the sound. Lots of turbo whistle and they have a built in resonator.

It would be incredibly amazing if you posted up a video clip..I'm waiting to get mine installed. I would also like to know if anyone has had any issues with theirs..
