The deflector was put on before our trip. We had issues in the rain and when it was dry.. didn't seem to matter.

That indicates the problem is somewhere else other than the CAC. As for the CAC issue, I am really starting to like the idea of drilling a 1/16" hole at the lowest point on the drivers side and let the turbos take care of the problem.
The mere fact that some trucks are fine in the rain and others are not indicates there is more than one thing wrong.

Just updating..
We returned Aug 20.. didn't stall for awhile when home. However, last week and this week have been terrible. I've lost track of how many times it's died on me for who knows what reason. Took it to the dealer yesterday and TSB 12-02-16 applied. Left dealer hopeful but same issues. Today while taking the kids to school it dies while I'm in the center lane of rush hour traffic.. this thing is going to get us hurt. Sitting at the dealer now hoping for results. This sucks because I previously loved the truck but you can't put my family in danger.

What in the world could be wrong with the throttle body?

I was told that if the stalling continues after TSB 12-02-16, this is the next step ordered by Ford. I'm not a "car guy" so a lot goes over my head and I mishear a bunch, but it was explained to me that they had to replace it because of something electronic on the interior. Hopefully that makes sense to someone here - again, I could be way off and misunderstood.

I remember reading some others had throttle bodies replaced. Both EB and 5.0 I think.

I've been digging through posts but can't find anything. I started a thread looking for help searching but no one has been able to either. https://www.f150forum.com/f70/help-s...e-body-226296/ Hopefully I'll stumble on it.
