Yep, and the 1-2-3, 3-1 shifting is on purpose to avoid the harsh 2-1 downshift. Mine always shifts through second if it winds up in first, but it wont downshift out of 3rd gear til its practically stopped, even if I hit the throttle.
You might lug the engine, but it won't hurt it at all. Just pour on more gas til it goes.

Well, since mine was built 01/11, it definitely needs this. Mileage (hand-calculated) over the first 3500 miles is 15.1, and has the rough shift issues.

It's SSM 21927 for the 2-1 downshift - but I have one of the first Ecoboost trucks, March 7 build date, and it also doesn't shift into 2nd gear as I slow down. The only time I get a 2-1 is if I never went fast enough to leave 2nd (and then, it does shudder, but I really dont want the transmission ripped apart to fix something that happens once a month)

Mine was built 2/11 and im not seeing any issues and it gets great millage. Should i get it flashed and risk f'ing it up? I know with the 6.0you never knew what you would end up with after a flash and sometimes it would kill performance and millage on some vehicles but not others.
