I had the same thing happened on my 1st oil change, called them as soon as I noticed, they said it's not a big deal, I said BS! They said they could change it for me in a couple days, I hung up the phone and drove straight there and told them to change it, they did. I never went there again. Funny thing is I was talking to them while they did the first change and asked about leveling kits, they said it would void my warranty. When I went back later that day I said, ya, I think the wrong oil will void my damn warranty!
Yeah, you really have to wonder how many of the premature engine parts failures are due to Ford dealership service departments putting the lighter weight oil into these engines. I can't believe Ford did not stress the importance of using the correct oil to dealers. Of course, in most cases by the time the problems from using lightweight oil occur, the trucks will be out of warranty so that is probably why FoMoCo doesn't care to educate the dealers. To me I am dumbfounded that service departments are still putting 5W20 into these engines, despite the oil caps being plainly marked Use 5W30. It will be interesting to see what the dealer has to say. And as was mentioned, how will I know if they really drained it and actually put in 5W30. My Ford dealer in Pennsylvania, from whom I bought my 2011 F-150 EB, told me they didn't carry 5W30 in their service department and that was why they put the 5W20 in. I insisted they put the correct oil in, and to be truthful I have no way of knowing for sure if they did. I later learned that they did start keeping 5W30 around and I am sure they aren't the only Ford dealership that doesn't/didn't stock 5W30 given that most Ford gassers use the 5W20. We'll see.

Forgive if this has been covered, but I'd be FAR more afraid of a dealer tearing into a factory engine than putting an oil that is mildly out of spec. Nothing is ever how it was from the factory.

If they put in, like 75w90, I'd worry, but not what they put in, and definitely not enough to want to risk the factory assembly.

I had the same problem with my dealer when i was buying the oil and filter to do it myself(never had dealer do my oil changes) I asked for 5w30 and he said i will need 5w20 instead. I then replied how come the oil cap says 5w30 then? His response was priceless...someone must of swapped your oil cap happens all the time...this same parts guy was also trying to sell me gold antifreeze when these trucks take orange. Needless to say i had a few words to say before i never went back to that dealer

Well, I must say my experience with Paul Clark Ford Service in Yulee, FL was very pleasant. They drained the oil and refilled with 5W30. There are places where you can see what is going on and I saw the truck on the lift with the catch basin underneath so I'm confident they did the right thing. This was my first/second visit to the dealership, having bought the truck in Pennsylvania, so they could have told me to kiss off. It seems they value a good relationship and everyone was very nice. I'll be going back there, and of course I'll remind them which oil goes into it. Thanks Paul Clark Ford for making good.
