That SCT 87 tune isn't aggressive enough to need to close up the spark plug gaps. Usually that comes into play with 91 and 93 tunes. Just need consistent gap from part-to-part and a healthy set of plugs.
The plugs come gapped at .030-.031 anyway even for the stock tune.
I do this too, and it really helps. If its not in 4wd i get wheelspin and sometimes wheelhop. In 4x4 it grips and goes, i still trap the same MPH too..
Best run of the night for me 15.085 in 4wd. Truck just has a mbrp catback exhaust. I'm pretty sure it could do better just my first time at the track. Attachment 406502

it's a 2011 3.5. Yea my launches were not the best should had brake boosted at a higher rpm I was doing it about 17-1800 rpm. I'm hoping to break 14s next time I go out with cooler weather.

Launch at 2,000-2,300 rpm and i'll bet you get a 14 second pass.FWIW i had the MBRP cat back exhaust on the 2013 Eco Boost F-150 i had.It ran the same time as the stock exhaust did,sounded faster though!!!
