I am seeing a trend that the screw 5 1/2 foot bed seems to be the fastest config.

Also looks just how my truck launches in 4wd

Allow me to point out that a decade ago, the Lightning was the baddest truck ever produced. At 4700 lb, with a supercharged 5.4 liter V8, most of them ran in the 13.7 range. In ideal conditions, my 2000 model clicked off a 13.53. Notice how we now have 4 ho-hum 5600 lb Supercrew 3.5 liter V6 trucks running right in that range . . . and it's August.

And when the GN's were outrunning the Mustangs and Camaros, all we heard about was "yeah, but they have forced induction". Well, the Lightnings had it, too.

I think the scabs and screws weigh a lot closer than people think. There is the trend of screw 3.73s getting a bit better MPG stock

Supercab with a 6.5' bed has same wheelbase as Supercrew with 5.5' bed. I traded my 2011 Screw with 6.5 for the Supercab to get rid of the two-piece driveshaft & shudder.
