I have the same truck except a 2012. Your numbers match mine almost exactly. I'm getting 22 mpg at 70 mph. 24 at 60. Generally average about 20 mpg with mixed driving.

22.3 at 70, 25.5 at 60. My numbers are very close, even the 30+ at 45.

And there are still skeptical people commenting below the article. Yeesh! To get 22.3 mpg at 70 mph is great. 7120 pounds of truck, passengers and equipment to boot. And 365hp/420lbs on tap? Even better.

Default 2013 F150 Lariat Ecoboost 4x4 SCREW 373 Gears 6.5' Bed

Purchased the truck mentioned in the title in Jan 2013 in Charlotte NC. Just over 10,000 miles on the odometer. Here are my MPG stats:

In Charlotte, averaged 21 hwy and 17 City.

Moved to Dallas in March 2013 and averaged 20 HWY and 16 City

Moved to Memphis TN in June 2013 and mileage has dropped substantially to a maximum MPG of 13.5 whether HWY or City. I can sometimes get it to 14 MPG if I do a lot of HWY driving but something is definitely wrong.

I took it to Landers Ford in Collierville last weekend and they said no recalls but reflashed the PCM for good measure. Nothing changed so taking it back on Monday. I used to be really happy with this truck but my impression from reading the wide range of mileage experiences from other owners, it seems like there are too many variables that can impact MPG with this truck. I have moved quite a bit over the years from one side of the country to the other and have never owned a vehicle that is so finicky with gas mileage. People here talk about the computer, transmission, oil change frequency and even spark plugs as causing major impacts on fuel economy for this vehicle. Not happy to say the least. I will be sure to report back if things improve.

What average hwy speed do you drive at to get those figure? I get 18.5mpg @ 60mph and 16mpg@ 70mph (truck is in my signature)

I also live in Memphis and have never seen anything near that bad. I have a 2012 FX2 screw, 3.55 with the Eco. On the high end I can get 21+ at 77-80 mph on the interstate and 16-17 on a bad day. I have an 8,000 mile running average of 18.5 that is probably a 50/50 mix of interstate and city driving. I run Shell 87 octane.

We live in the Memphis area, my wife drives the EB (FX2, 3:55) about 15 miles each way to work over city, country and hwy roads and she gets in the upper 16's for mpg. She's doesn't drive for mpg, she likes to use the skinny pedal.

On long (500 mile) trips she gets 19/20 mpg on the hwy.

Mine 2012 EB Lariate 3.73 rear end always gets around 17 mpg in average. Originally thought it was OK, but now felt not quite right when seeing posts in the 20ish. Any idea to improve it? Mine is all stock now.
