BubbaTX, you got 59,000 miles on your original tires? Forget gas mileage, hey, that's good!

My mileage has gone up with my SoCal tunes. With Shawn's tunes you don't use near as much gas petal. But with the increase mpg you get the best and quickest tunes available.

Just got back from a roundtrip from Palm Bay, FL to Murray, KY.

Ran 89 shell, speed limit in all areas was 70mph and below on interstates...five passengers, 5 suitcases and vacation gear..loaded. Went through atlanta, chattanooga, and nashville. 15 hour drive each way, and in town driving at destination.

I think the tune helped actually improve the MPG. I am at altitude in the Rocky Mountains and have a lot of hilly country to travel through. I noticed while running an economy tune, albeit in winter, there was much more downshifting to provide adequate torque to pull hills and maintain speed.

In the first 16 miles of the trip, there was a 2,400 foot elevation gain. I was able to maintain 65-70 and even increase speed if needed with no noticeable hunting for gears. On smaller hills it stayed in 6th and just a little gas would increase the speed if needed.

2012 FX4 Ecoboost 18" Goodyear, mixed mountain, highway 50-75 MPH in Colorado, 10,000 miles. I drive fairly easy. Average 21 MPG. Better than my Sport Trac V8 by 2-3 MPG. Considerably better than my GMC, Dodge and Toyota friends. I run primarily pure gas, but don't notice a difference when running E15. Also, toneau on or off, no real difference. Love the truck. No troubles whatsoever. Hope everyone else is enjoying their trucks.

On the main hwy it was about 95 kph. Twisty, hilly roads following, around 80 kph.
Vice versa on the drive home. Generally about 35 min drive each way.

My mpg sucks. I'm averaging about 12-14 per tank and before I leveled and got bigger rims and tires I was about 15-17.
