Ecoboost only---real world mileage.

Well, here's your challenge. Without any codes to guide them to something specific, all Ford is going to do is go out and drive your truck 58mph [why 58 I don't know] and it is required to get only 20mpg at this speed. On a warm, no wind, day they eventually got mine to momentarily hit 21mpg at 58mph and came back and said there's nothing wrong. You are within Ford specs. I called the dealer in Iowa where I bought it and they concurred this is what they would do.
Problem is, I bought a truck that regularly got 21mpg at 70mph [not 58] without wind, so there's no "getting it fixed" going to happen. I would get 25mpg at 58mph before it broke. Ford only requires 20mpg.
Just one of the six reasons mine is in lemon law proceedings. Much more serious reason being the potential to completely lose power in cool - humid conditions which can get you killed.
Good luck though . . .

I have the 5.0, and just the 5-10 mph from 63-73, makes a HUGE difference. At 73 on flat i get 20ish and 63(which is the normal slow lane speed) i get about 24. I have 3.73 gears and no cover or tire mods

My truck currently has 1300 miles and I just returned from my first road trip. Vegas to san Diego and back. Averaged 13.8 mpg with no load. I have bigger tires than stock but there is no way at cruising speeds they are diminishing my mileage by that much. This was traveling 70-75 mph with 3.55 gears. Even my 06 titan got 18 mpg on the highway. Something def isn't right and I scheduled an appointment atthe dealer to have it checked out. Any ideas?

Canon, how do they do this? Put it up on a rack and put the cruise on?

They have a tool they use while driving that will print out the results when done. And, though they struggled even on this perfect warm day with no wind, it was 17-18mpg for most of the 20 miles drive, my truck did eventually hit 20mpg steady state and then spiked up to 21mpg. But, only at 58mph. I know on that exact day back when I bought it, I would have been hitting 25mpg, maybe more at that speed under those perfect environmental conditions. There's no getting mpg problems fixed when they accept 25% less mpg as an acceptable norm.

Canon Mutant---I have been reading for over 8 months and maybe even way more than that that you were using the lemon law. You should have been done with that way long ago. There is also something wrong with you besides your truck. It does not take 8 or more months to get the lemon law done. I am sick and tired of your crying and crying and crying.

Just an FYI to those that are tempted to wait until closer to the lemon limits of their state...
