Default ecoboost exhaust

Hey everyone. I just bought a 2014 fx4 ecoboost and bought a cat back solo performance kit of a friend. I'm just wondering what kind of power gains people are noticing from cat back systems on the ecoboost's and how they find the sound inside the cab while driving.

couple it with a custom tune and it may aid in performance. Just the catback on an otherwise stock motor, slim to none.

Catbacks gain minimal HP but are responsible for the tone and sound of the truck. They do improve flow, but the gains are usually not something you can feel.

All the gains to be had in the exhaust of the ecoboost are in the downpipe. Our downpipes make a considerable difference and can be had for under $400.00.

What he said. Catback alone is minimal power gains, mostly for tone and sound. Tune and downpipes will give you a noticable power increase.
