Ecoboost Exhaust

Ecoboost Exhaust
Hi I have a 2011 ford f150 fx2 3.5L V6 Ecoboost. I'm looking for an exhaust system that will make it sound deeper. A more manly tone. Im not looking for crazy loud. Just a light rumble at idle and acceleration. I realized there are many exhayst systems for the Ecoboost. I'm just looking to change the sound. I do not care about performance upgrade or dual tips/etc. just a more manly sound. To achieve this sound do I need a whole new exhaust system?? Or just get a new muffle or something?? What company is best for what in looking for?? Thanks...

Check out SOLO PERORMANCE they have some good sound clips. I have the SOLO 4" Single I think it sounds good.

To achieve this sound follow these steps:
1. place key in ignition and turn on truck
2. google directions to your nearest Ford dealer
3. drive to said dealer and trade in your truck on fancy new 5.0 Coyote.
Manly sound achieved.
sorry bud.............. from what we've found so far there is no cure to the "sounds like a 1986 Astro van on steriods BLUES."
A couple of full throttle blasts up the nearest grade should make you forget what it sounds like though.

You would have to pry my Solo Mach dual system from my cold dead fingers to get it from me.
It's been on for months now and, it's still getting deeper in tone. The one in Solo's vid is a fresh install. No miles on it. It is not quite indicative of how it sounds with use. The white truck in the vid is mine with the single on it. I switched to the dual after the vid was shot. No regrets for me, but you might like it different.
