You said yours looked nothing like what was in the video which led me to think I had a lot of oil. I would guess the quantity of oil to be less than a drop in my video. It doesn't take much oil to create a sheen. It left nothing on my concrete after the water dried. 42,000 miles and that little oil is good news.

Oh no I agree. Very little oil in yours at all, you're correct about the sheen. Your video was just shocking, which is why I posted it up. Makes me want to put my GoPro on and take a drive, but I don't think I'll see anything as violent as that. Thanks for posting it, a real eye opener!

Put my afe in today. That's the water that came out of the stocker with the hole drilled in it. Plus what was still left in the IC and what dripped out after I pulled it into the heated garage prior to taking it out

Well that's not very reassuring. It's amazing to see the variance on this engine. Some have no problems and some do. At some point a common denominator(s) is going to start to emerge, I just haven't seen anything yet.

I noticed your top cover on the CAC is gone, was that due to the TSB or your own doing?

I would love to see what the AFE does compared to the OEM. Keep updating if you can...

I'm glad to see this video as it's proof positive that the WATER is a result of intake air and not the result of combustion as some have tried to lead us to believe.
Thanks for posting!

You post this but how many of you with these catch cans just dump your collections in the garbage or worse, on the ground or in the sewer?
Please stop pushing your agendas in this thread.

There are some really twisted people out there. The water clings with oil that is in the CAC. It has been proven to happen by Chemists. Keep denying it but it can't be proven untrue.
