It would actually be pretty easy with a catch can type setup, even into a water bottle or something.

The pro set up is drilling a hole, installing a vacuum nipple and hooking up an old style PVC valve so that it opens under pressure and closes when the truck is not running.

BTW, the hole is an old tuner trick.

Thumbs up I drilled mine in June of this year

I used a 1mm drill in a handheld pin vise to create the hole (less than 1cfm lost with this hole size). This was a pre-emptive move and since drilling the hole, have not had any issues in 4000+ miles, but didn't prior to either. I live near central FL, hot and humid with afternoon rains all summer long!

I thought I was the first to drill and had been somewhat apprehensive to do it, so it is good to see that someone else has taken the plunge (and beat me to it). Like you, did not notice any pre to post change in behavior - truck continues to run strong!

I have noticed a small oil smear on the metal supporting CAC cross brace adjacent to the hole, so I guess it is doing something!

I just found this thread and thought I'd check in with my results. With the help of "achenlx200" I drilled mine after having the FOF issue and waiting 3 weeks for dealer to get parts. I had the TSB done and lost a lot of performance with new strategy. So I immediately drilled the weep hole (Thanks ALAN) and got a SCT tuner from Franchi and never looked back. I run the 93 canned tune since I always run premium anyway. 10k miles later no issues and never a wet spot beneath the truck. So in my opinion this is a fix. I don't think the new IC and shield were the fix. I live in the Houston area and drive stop and go traffic all week without a chance for WOT. Our weather is sticky hot and humid with plenty of downpours. On weekends I run to the beach and stomp on it some. But never had the condensation issue again. It's nice to drive the truck with complete confidence that the power is going to be there when you really need it !!!

Great! Did you remove the shield after drilling?

I haven't drilled the hole, but have the SP-534 plugs gapped at .030, a Wagner IC, and the Southern Speed T4 tune. I floored it yesterday after a couple of days of rain/snow/snain showers. It dropped to 2nd, hit 5000 RPM, sputtered a little, cleared its throat and took off.
So I have some of the recommendations, seemed to have a minor issue, but did not fall on its face.

You got something else happening man.

I saw where you said that your plugs are only 7k miles old and you were already getting spuddering?

I understand the confusion; we both have F150s.

Did not remove the shield. I just wanted the best chance for for zero stumbles. Now that I see its working I might be convinced to try removing it. I just don't like the safety issue of the problem and really don't want to recreate it. Also I did change the plugs to the new spec.
