I don't give a damn about "emissions" (another topic for another day), but with the crappy fuel these days the problem with going cat-less is the exhaust simply stinks. Blech. Been there, done that. The performance bonus is a plus, though.

I'd probably get a pipe with cats if they weren't asking nearly $1000 for it, although there is no smog testing where I live. My wife drives the truck often enough she'd probably object to the unburnt fuel smell rather quickly.
