Does that mean you have to pay for it as part of the Sync My Ride package?

Do you have a picture of this hole location? Is there a dummy plug currently in this position that needs to be removed?

I'd like to see a pic as well. My 4Runner had a special hole on the back of the block for a block heater. No coolant loss for the install. Works like a charm. Now if the eco has the same thing......

I've had my eco in -30 last winter in ND and on the Continental Divide in northern NM a few times. It starts but doesn't sound like it likes it. Same with every other vehicle subjected to that kind of cold weather. Even at -20, it takes some time to warm up. Less idle time would be good for mpgs.

2 winters ago, we saw -35F at work. After graveyard, there were a bunch of vehicles that wouldn't even start. I was lucky my Z71 did, but barely. After 40 minutes of idling, it was barely starting to defrost the windshield. That truck took forever to warm up.

Thanks for the help, I guess it just threads into that grey plastic looking plug or does the plug unscrew and the element replaces it? I'm going to order the OEM kit off ebay...
