Ecoboost awful noise on startup
I just found this Ford Bulletin # 15N05, and it sounds like it might address the gawdawful noise I hear on startup:

My truck falls within the coverage period, so I'm taking it to the dealer next week. But until then, I'm going to record it each time I start it to get the noise recorded, because when I take it to them warm, it won't do it. Interesting thing when reading the bulletin: It mentions the CAC and excessive condensate......just what the drain hole we have all been discussing should alleviate. I have not drilled mine but am going to, right after the dealer (hopefully) replaces my vac pump.

Just discovered that this issue is covered ad nauseum on a different thread on this forum....guess I'm late to the game! But I'm glad I should be able o get the dealer to do it for freebies, I was going to just do it myself.....
