...That said, there is a safety concern when you depends on an engine performing the same all the time and then it doesn't, and it happen often enough that there are class action lawsuits and a government inquiry into it.
We agree on one thing for sure, given that pressure, I imagine that Ford likely has teams of people working on this all day, everyday, until they solve it. I would bet with the effort they are likely throwing at this, that a real fix isn't more than several weeks away..

The 5.0L has more then enough power that most truck owners need that do not tow heavy. It just takes some rpms to makes it's power which could be a plus for you if you are in to that V8 engine noise thing. I wouldn't worry about it especially if you don't tow that much. I am sure it will put a smile on your face every time you drive it.

I'm pretty sure that I have stated that I know Ford will solve the Eco CAC issue quickly, as they have to much at stake not too. I have stated this several times. If I didn't have faith in this company, I would not have bought any of their vehicles.

I would also agree we aren't doing anything by bickering back and forth. It's a total waste of time, and won't change anything anyway. But it is fun, and I doubt ascribed takes any of this seriously. I sure don't.
Most everyone that is arguing here has contributed on many other threads where we do help others with tires, stereos, maintenance, mileage questions, towing, etc. I think we all just see this thread as a grand distraction, to see just how fast we can push the others.
