Also do any of you know if you can buy the flange that would mimic the OEM connection at the back of the catted pipe? I don't want to weld to the downpipe, I want to bolt it up so if I ever want to change anything it can be unbolted. Its a different fitting, not a true flat flange, hard to explain, but more of a compression fitting? Can you buy these and weld onto a 3" or 4" section? Whats the real terminology to describe it so I can search online!?!

Digging this up from the dead. Any updates on your exhaust OP? Sounds great, curious of how it sounds so long after the first post.

Current setup sounds really good. I like trying new things so I put the 4" corsa muffler from a diesel in place of the aero4040. It made the exhaust sound a little sporty, to put it nicely. The aero was a tad smoother. Thanks for posting the vids.

Sounds sweet but still a little too loud for me I think. Finding and testing that f250 tail section is a good find! So it goes over the axle good and exit is okay and not at a funky angle? I wanna buy all the parts u listed but run a huge long Magnaflow 4" muffler

So thats the current set up you're runnin'? DP's to a 4inch with a corsa diesel muffler? It sounds a bit more "diesel-ish" to me. A bit more throaty then the aero did. I think the DP's make a huge difference for the sound, its hard to get a throaty-ish sound out of these engines with just a muffler.

Catless pipes make it louder and more aggressive. I've got a 30" resonator and the corsa. I've thought of dropping the resonator but it'd be loud in the cab.

Have you played around with where you mount the muffler? I'm curious what would happen if you mount the muffler directly off the downpipe and run it out the back. It's still not a straight pipe, just muffler mounted in a didn't location.

Some others have mentioned doing that. My diamond eye resonator is actually their 30" muffler. I just have another muffler after that. Still a little volume in the cab.
