I'd say its more of a direct injection thing than a fuel quality thing. Run meth, that'll clean em up.

Not sure if e85 is available in my neck of the woods...possible a tune or combination of both (gas)..idk. All i do know is the fresh plugs gapped to 30 have cleaned things up for now

You do know you can't run e85 in an ecoboost right?

I run premium and changed and regal my plugs today NONE were fouled like some I've seen on here 2 were a little black but of no concern. IF I hadn't bought the new plugs would have reinstalled the old ones. MY truck runs smoother on premium and will continue to use it.

I put diesel in mine every other tank full, I love that "popcorn" smell. But it seems a little sluggish in the lower rpms...


I kid, I kid....I figured I better put this as someone might try to put diesel in it, haha.

Just changed out the NGKs. I didn't have white powder probably because of octane boosters but there's definitely some flakey material on the plug. These are with .032 gap. I put in some autolites with .030 gap. Cranked and idled fine. Haven't driven it yet.
