After reading this thread - I'm wondering about my 5.0's plug gap.

Am not trying to hijack this thread but - does anyone know what the 5.0 gap should be? May check mine too. I can certainly do the research but if someone know, that'd be great.

Call the dealer for your 5.0. Talk to parts, they should be able to get a spec, probably gonna ask for your vin#.

re-gapped mine last night and they were all between .040-.042. I set them all to .035.

I have the 55 mph shudder & horrible gas MPG.

there was no change in the shudder and ill have to see on the mpg. I have never seen a tank go over 16.5. City is 12-13

Also when i had the cover off i noticed this.

is it me or is there a screw missing from that sensor.

Your not the first one to point that out and yes it looks like a screw could be missing but it is not. It was designed that way.

So these colder running plugs...any problem for us northerners to be running them come winter?
Or is climate/temp even an issue with them?
