Eco spark plug gap
#381
There is minimal carbon build up in the thread area. There is zero build up on the insulator. There is zero degredation on the firing contact area's. That plug in the picture has never been fired. Or if it has been fired, it's been with no fuel. Either that or the plug has .ooooo1 miles on it. No isnulator has ever looked that clean on a used plug.
If yours have that clean of an insulator, you're not burning anything in the combustion chamber.

Edit: Canadian fuel specs would really help you guys.

That is impressive guys. Never seen a plug so clean before. Now I'm curious what mine look like.
Waiting on new cac to arrive. I'm going to gap my plugs after install. I'll post a pic of 'em. 21000 km on my 2011, about 6000 of that is towing #5 or #6000lbs.

0.9% is for suckers!
Not sure what pic you are talking about. If it was the picture I posted, that plug came out of my 2012 Eco with 8500 miles on it. 87 octane it's whole life. They all looked like that.

This is exactly what I'm expiriencing with my 93 pert/tow tune. But only after its been in for a few miles....when first installed, it runs very strong. When I roll on the throttle, the power comes on in incremental spurts. Hard to describe but I think I know what you're talking about.

Well stop "tuning" with these silly devices and just drive the damn truck. Don't make changes unless you actually know what you're doing. Emphasis on "actually".
When it comes to engine management, there is no such thing as plug and play enhancements. If it were that easy, every vehicle would already be tuned that way from factory (oh wait, they already are...)
