I break-in my dirtbikes very close to the way mototune does and I believe!!!!

The break-in period that Ford suggests as far as towing goes is very important for the rear end though.

Transmission and differential shops recommend 500 miles. The most important thing is getting things up to operating temp.

One of my friends purchased a new GTO 04,he drove it hard from day one.His car is listed in the top 10 fastest stock gto's in the country ( 1/4 mile racing).Sold it with 55k miles never had any problems with the driveline.

Great report on towing I cannot wait to hit the road with my EB Lariat later this year. Awesome to hear that the powerplant is performing to your expectations. I wish you many happy years of towing/hauling with your F-150. Now if you could get a Mustang on the trailer! Awesome!

I would be pissed to think I spent 60 grand on a superduty only to find out I could have done the same thing with a 1/2 ton gasser. And cheaper.... 10,000 or less the eco blows

I just got back from towing a 53 Chevy 5 window pick up from Boise Idaho to Lodi CA. I averaged 12.1 mpg on the way to Lodi, on the way back with the empty 1900lbs trailer I got 17.5mpg. (4x4 Crew, max tow, 3.73 gear) I was very impressed with the power, and I traded in a 2011 Ram Cummins 4x4 crew that only got 14mpg empty......

Towing a 2900lb boat at 70 I got 11mpg. Not impressed with my towing mpg. My superduty got 15 on the same trips.
