Default E85?

Anybody ran any on a 91 or 93 performance tune? I would think it would be fine. Just thought about putting a few gallons in when i try the tune out. I figure why not, thats 10 free hp. I dont plan to make a habit of running it tho.

I ran it with a 87 economy tune and 87 performance tune. Ran just fine. I can get around.15mpg with e85 if I take it easy on the pedal.

I wanted to run E85 but I can only find 6 places who have it in Florida and the closest is over 100 miles away from me.

Bout 40 for me. Dont plan to do it much, worse mpg and shorter oil change intervals makes that an easy decision unless im headed to get a time slip.

I live in Midwest where lots of places have e85. I experimented with one of my other vehicles for 10k miles using e85 exclusively and lost 25-30% mpg. Switched back and mpg returned. Noticed no seat of pants power diff. Unless e85 is 30% lower cost than 87 octane, it's not worth it.

Ethanol is one of the worst scams pulled over on the public. Less mpg and it costs more, only winner in that equation is the corn farmer.

Im only interested in putting a few gallons in when i get a chance to get to the track. Supposedly it produces about 10 more hp than 87 on the 5.0. Its basically free hp, so im going to give it a shot, eventually. Been working every day, and its already in the 90s, so not sure when ill go.
