Anytime you flash, everything in the dash menu is set back to factory. Such as the memory feature of where you had the dash last, fuel screen ect so the running boards are going to set back to off..every time you flash it.

Good advice right there.
Only return to stock if you see there are updates needed. Don't forget to fill out the custom tune form to claim your 3 free MPT custom tunes.

I sent it in the same day (Monday), please let me know if it didn't go thru for some reason and I will send it again. I'm sure mine will be remembered as the hotel address on Ft Rucker wouldn't show up on the USPS website so he had to drop it off and fill the address in manually. It worked tho thankfully. Thanks, T.

Havent got to run it yet, but it has already suprised me. Pulled onto a road and rolled up to about 10 mph and rolled into the throttle to hear the turbos. Wasnt going to do but a sec but it immediately downshifted and started spinning the tires before I could let back off. Definately caught me by suprise haha. This was supposed to be a step in the direction of a family style vehicle since as you can see by my other cars, they are more speed oriented lol. Looks like I chose the right truck...

Well I took the Plunge and UnInstalled the SuperChips Tuner and Installed the SCT Tuner and their Strategy Tune. It felt a little Stronger than the SuperChips Tuner so I took the Next Step and Ordered the MPT 87 Economy with Chill Shifting, 87 Performance with Street Shifting and 93 Performance with Street Shifting Tunes.
I installed the 93 Performance Tune and I am enjoying the New Power. Now when Tromping on the Gas Pedal from a Stand Still the Tires start to spin after a slight Turbo Lag when starting out and then Chirp when Shifting into Second Gear as the Turbo's Boost Rises.
I just wish that the Turbo Lag coming off the line could be Eliminated.
I Imagine a Turbo Change and Larger Injectors would eliminate that BUT I am Unwilling to Completely Void my Warranty and will have to live with it Unless another MPT Tune or Tuner can Improve on this 93 Octane Performance Tune from MPT. Or maybe I can Talk with Mike at MPT to see if there is something else he can do with this Tune for me.......

Hi Mike, do you need to claim all 3 custom tunes at once? Or can I do separate orders?

Thanks for posting the mpg tracking on our MPT economy tune. The driver has a big impact on results but it looks like you are doing a great job at not over-driving the settings.

The 3 free tunes will be claimed on 1 form at the same time. If you have future modification plans, let us know what you are looking at. Any part purchased from MPT includes free tune updates.

So far, so good - I'm liking this 4+ mpg improvement. After a few tank fulls I will post the results again.
Went on another 250 mile trip Friday. Got 21.8 mpg overall. Probably about 20 miles of that was city, rest highway. Used to get 16.2 on that same trip. It's looking like 4 or 5 mpg improvement on highway driving for me. Haven't driven enough in the city yet, to have any idea what effect it has there. No problems with anything, truck is about like it was except when it idles it is a little rougher than stock (I think).

From my experience with 2 EB's and following hundreds of posts on here, I think there is a whole lot of variation among EB's on mileage. Quite aside from drivers and environmental influences, there are big differences between what are apparently otherwise identical trucks. It will be interesting to see if the tuners have a consistent effect - or just get the "bad" trucks to where they should be; i.e. if you were getting 16 they will add 5 and you will get 21, but if you were already getting 21, will they get you 26 or nothing or something else? It's going to be interesting to watch.

I'm still real happy with my SCT tuner and MPT programs. Highly recommend them to anyone.
