Default Do you like your Eco-boost engine poll

I originally came over here to learn about the Eco-boost engine, but found instead a lot of complaints. I do understand that a lot of the posts come from people having problems, and those who don't have any problems (silent majority I hope) don't post. Trying a poll to see who likes their engine.

Here is my post idea! Everyone who has an Eco-boost engine:
a. Do you like it?
b. Is you mileage what you expected?
c. Have you had any significant problems with the engine?
d. Would you buy another Ford with the Ecoboost engine?

Agreed. The poll options do not coincide with your question.

I am satisfied with my engine but not thrilled. The mileage is only 1mpg better than the f250 crew cab short bed 4wd 6.7 diesel I had but maintenance is far cheaper. I haven't had any issues in 10,000 miles. It's got good power but ford really needs to ditch the 3.15 and 3.31 gears. They are pathetic and really kill the performance. Would I buy another one? Sure would.

Default Oops

First try at a poll, and guess I didn't really know how to do it. should have had a yes/no answers to each question instead of how it came out.

Umm, why did you buy one geared that way? Those tall ratios are unfortunately to keep the CAFE numbers in line. Honestly 3.31, 3.73 and 4.10 should be the only ratios offered. 3.15 is just too tall, and there's not enough difference between 3.55s and 3.31/3.73 to make them worthwhile.

Hell yes, yes, nope and in a heartbeat Oh and even with the 3.15 it will yank the hitch off a freight car

2 reasons. 1) I'm a dumbass and 2) I didn't think anyone offered a 3.15 gear anymore.
