Ok thanks. Maybe the way he names the tunes now is different than when you were using them. Now they are "rated" by octane, aggression (1-4) and then generation.

This was the order and naming of tune revisions I received. This represents 10/15/2013 to 7/27/14. T4 to Trex was paid. Trex onwards was where I had issues and all tunes were revisionary. I had a S&B intake on the truck for a few months, and I removed this when I thought that might be the P0299 culprit. It was not, as the P0299 persisted after removal.

MMEcoF15091octaneT4.cef - P0299 shows up in this iteration, misfires show up on TorquePro
Rockhound91octaneTrexnew.cef - Pinging and P0299 in this iteration, bought Brisk plugs from SSI to remedy misfires, TorquePro misfire monitoring disabled with this revision onwards
Rockhound91octaneSSi2TS1TAadj.cef - Pinging gone, P0299 persists
MM191octane.cef - Pinging back, P0299 persists, removed Brisk plugs from SSI, added gapped OEM SP534, removed S&B instake permanently.
MM291octane.cef - Pinging persists, P0299 persists
MM91octaneGEN2.cef - Pinging persists, P0299 gone, cruise control issues begin intermittently
MM72791octaneGEN2fix.cef - Pinging persists, cruise control issues constant above 65mph.

Sounds to me like you took every reasonable action to correct the issues. I'm sure some will claim you don't know how to handle a plug change or try to slam you in other ways. . And like already said you don't have to deal with burned chicken you get to move on. Sorry you do have to deal with the Kentucky fried supporters blaming your burned chicken on you and not the ones over cooking it

Who said anything about ssi. I thought we were talking about overcooked chicken. And my comment was directed at the people blaming him for ordering it burnt. My bad :p

Isn't there already a positive review thread? Not sure why people keep adding their reviews to this one.

But I guess it keeps giving a bump for the OP.

I too had a very similar poor experience, IMO.
Livewire Tuner, Tunes, upgraded tunes, bought everything from Shawn short of plugs. Hell donated to the bike fund. Never could fix surging issue. A politician on the phone, not so much via email. Lot's of drama.
I bought mine a ways back prior to gen 4/Trex. Paid for 2 upgrades, one after the infamous computer crash and no backups on codes? Still wonder if that was a scam, but hey figured give the guy a brake, lot's of crap going down for him around that time.
When I originally bought he had the free tunes for life as long as it was the same vehicle. Threw P0299 and P0234 codes from memory, but didn't do it stock, not once. Finally just took tunes off and went stock and eventually a different issue showed up stock that was caused by a fitting someone tried re-gluing when Ford fixed an exhaust manifold leak. Went to try tunes and found they had changed my strategy, so called Shawn and what do you know "Free tunes for life was a bad business decision, but if you upgrade now since yours is old and the new tune is so much better it's only $150." "Nope I haven't had a single problem with this new tune, it's night and day." "But you said that before and I still had the problem." "This will fix it, but you'll have to pay as since I've upgraded my files I can't go back and edit."
Fool me twice, I am just done. It's not the $150, it's the fact he knows he never fixed it and then when I am told no problems whatsoever with the new tune.....hell at least offer me a tune to try and let me decide, but since he's the businessman he can make such decisions....

While the SSI tunes were fun to drive when no codes being thrown, I'd rather have better customer service and less power and much less drama. Since being soured I've just been running stock. Nope no where near as fun to drive, but when I want fun I just go off roading in my Raptor.

Same for me too. surging never fixed and got the run around about paying more money etc. Fun to drive sometimes but not as good as everybody claims. For me anyways. Would love to try somebody's truck that works like it's supposed to to see.

You must of ordered your tune wrong it's your fault, did not check your plugs or something. (( note sarcasm ))
