GoOver To Vwvortex And Go To The Tsi Tfsi Section And Watch The Turn Over And Speed Of The Forum Compared To Here. Ecoboost Is Still NewAnd In It's Infantile Stage. Took The 1.8T A WhileTo Get Traction. ThinkAbout It. Not A Lot Of People, Honestly, TryingTo Go Fast In A F150. They Put This Motor In The Mustang And The Support Would Be On Faster.

I've contacted every single HPFP manufacturer and NONE are interested, they don't realize sheer size of the market for the F150. Even 1% of the owners would be easily 10 times the size of the Mazda/VW market. They'll recognize it eventually I"m sure.
I've been looking around the 3.7L mustang threads and the aftermarket is all over them with rotating forged assemblies, twin turbo kits and aftermarket intakes being made. Hopefully that will start happenning with the trucks soon besides just exhaust upgrades and intakes along with what Full-Race is doing of course.

How many people are actually willing to spend the money to upgrade turbos and the fuel system? A couple hundred? It's a tough sell, it really is for the cost of a redesigned pump. We could get it out the door for a couple hundred bucks but that's a small market, and I'm not sure we'd have enough people interested to make a run worth while. Adapting a larger capacity pump may be the most cost effective solution.

1. I am working to trade in wife's FX2 for an FX4, why? Traction!!!
1st step will be to an auxillary fuel tank to hold a few gallons of E85 and some auxillary injection. Let's see how far the stock turbos can go with E85!!!
2. The salesman said that late 2014 they're coming out with a "trimmer" truck, RCSB Ecoboost for $14.9K MSRP. I told him I'll be in the second they hit the lot to buy one!
I'll update in another topic once I have more info.

Then again, there is a reason I am an engineer and not in marketing or sales. If someone can get some realistic numbers for the proposed market, I will put a proposal together and submit it to my senior staff.
