I towed a car back 800 miles from Colorado with out the resonator and did not e en notice but I put it on recently and it really does take it down a notch. Truly the sound of the FR exhaust is perfect not to loud with out it at all. But if your overly sensitive. Get both pipes and have the best of both worlds like me !

A lot of testing is going on for the people asking about the intake and other items.
Hi geno51, thanks for your comment, really appreciate all your input guys. Got another question regarding having both worlds... If I buy the FR cat-back with the resonator and decide to change my mind and take it off or vice-versa, Am I going to be able to do that? Or once I cut the pipe for the desire length and fitment, I won't be able to change anything? What your thinking? Thanks for your help and comments again!

The resonator and res delete pipe are interchangeable. No cutting required. I purchased both and stuck with the resonator.

Thanks Boosted6, knowing that now, I'll buy the resonator and if I changed my mind, I won't be stuck. that's awesome! Exactly what I wanted to know. This forum is very helpful, thanks again Boosted6.

No disrespect intended but several forum members and I have grown tired of the "this really awesome thing should be released really really soon" posts when nothing happens in the suggested time frame. Outside of MPT and SSI tunes nothing has really offered a dramatic change in power for our trucks yet. If I had a dime for every time I've read one of these "updates" from a company or devotee I would start my own performance shop and actually have products to release by now. I think FR realized they were disappointing potential customers so they stopped dropping teaser posts. Perhaps their customers and other performance shops should stop as well. I don't want to turn this thread negative, sorry if I do. I just want to give a voice to the guys here who have been saving and saving waiting to spend on upgrades that will make a significant difference and we feel like we're getting jerked around.

Part of me agrees with you but it's real hard to make the kind of power were all looking for when a simple tune maxes the stock fuel system. Exhaust intake tune and really there is not much more you can do until the fuel is handled. You can strap the biggest turbos you want on there but If the fuel is not there every mod will be "minimal" to put things in light for you not everyone wants huge mods some people are fine with the little things. But with that said you there has been no jerking around FR,morekinson, and others have all said were out of fuel we need that handled first before the big parts will pay any dividend they all made it clear that's the issue. Everyone is waiting on botch to finish it's pump then it's game on.

I will say though the little mods are still worth it and all play very well with a solid tune. Tune is still the big thing followed by DP. Once the fuel is taken care of I'm sure the money you have saved will be able to be put to use.

I'm split down the center, too. It sucks to be teased but at the same time; if they are making sure it fits, functions and produces adequate gains for the part being designed, I give them kudos.

I'm glad we have options...like turbos from FR, Morkin, MAK, and Cavalli Turbo (from SSI). It's great to have companies showing the interest.

Almost 10k miles on Mat's turbos now, I'm happy with them. He's awesome to deal with too.

I can dream of larger Turbos a fully aluminum intake and CNG injection in the future. No worry for fuel mileage, won't be any. More air, more fuel, more torque. Just a half ton fuel tank back there where the tool box ust to be.
