It's not too bad to install turbos on this truck. Especially since they are dropping right into the stock locations. I would do the swap but work is slammed at the moment. I will post up results and my other surprise parts when they are all done. Good luck with install. If you need any help shoot me a PM and I will give you my cell phone.

Also AFE hot pipes are kind of known for boost leaks. Have you opened them up? Make sure no damage has occurred during shipping. That was the other big complaint I know of.

What cac do you have

What's with this app.

Trying to show pics of my ported manifolds and the Walbro 450 pump installation for you guys. If anyone has any questions about the Walbro I've had mine on now 3 weeks and it's about a 1-3 hour job depending if you have some good direction. I'm here so PM me if you have any questions. More than happy to help

Thanks I appreciate that! First Im going to call afe monday about the big couplers and see what they say. That forsure is going to leak. The problem is im from Canada and shipping cost will be lost twice now..they were purchased from ecopowerparts.com. I have the full race cac for the last 2 years and love it

thanks for the vote of confidence - It means a lot to hear from customers like you who run our parts hard and love them enough to come back for turbos

yes please do the install thread! I would be happy to help answer any questions as they arise, you can email me directly geoff[at]full-race[dot]com. I have not worked with 5star yet, but it appears they have some experience tuning these turbos and may be able to put together a solid basemap. I also have a customer Very happy with his MPT tune on these turbos at the moment. Some great options to be certain

The easiest/fastest way to disconnect the coolant line is to use a small metal "pick tool" and lift the spring clip out of the groove. It may be tricky at first, and dont lose the clip, but you can get the hang of it and save a bit of time

hey ryan, i am excited for this setup also! some really exciting builds coming together in the next month - you and ducatti will have almost identical configs, just different octane fuel and different state. great comparisons

Geoff, here is a picture of my stock turbo it looks like a plastic piece and no clip, where my new turbos have the metal clip. This is what is confusing me a bit

please take a closer look, to see if it is a rubber grommet - you should be able to lift it up and access the spring clip below!

Update on my install, went to my local ford dealer to pick up all the gaskets and new spark plugs and coolant. My quote was $700 canadian !!! I can order everything on Tasca for a third of the price, from the U.S.... so ordering soon install will be later then i thought.
