Thanks for the info. Not obtrusive in-cabin or external?
Is it possible to add the resonator at a later time if I order the non-resonated version?

buy the exhaust WITHOUT the resonator drive it for a while see what you think. If you don't like it buy the resonator and add it to the system. You don't have to order the whole system at once

Cheers,
GREG

THIS.

I installed my non-resonated exhaust last night. Now that it's all put together (there was an *ahem* clamp shortage) it's non-obtrusive at cruise, noticeable on throttle and there when you want it to sing.

We'll see how it is with the 26' TT on...

Geoff, get well soon! Please give us all the juicy details on the fueling fix and the Freak-O-Boost on Monday assuming you're in good health by then.

Also any updates on the following would be greatly appreciated;

Any Plans/Development/Production of a Full-Race intake and charge pipe to compliment the inter cooler.

Production/Availability of the Inter cooler with factory BOV.

Power potential/Production/Availability of the Meth Kit.

good morning guys, mondays are hectic here (im pinned today) so will keep this short. Our 2014 Fusion Ecoboost is under the knife right now getting prepped for SEMA, our fabricators are doing great work on it. My days are dedicated to getting 11 new products ready for SEMA debut:

-2013 eBOV intercooler: half the parts are on my desk, the other parts are at anodizing now. Will be ready for photos and details posted on our website later this week. Also, anybody who wants to add an external BOV or mechanical boost gauge to their 2013+ (or older) can do so without touching any of the other hoses/fittings on the engine

-we've had requests for sound clip videos comparing the external tial BOV vs OEM e-BOV vented-to-atmosphere. (admittedly the sound quality for our exhaust vids was less than stellar, so we ordered a good microphone for our camera)

-Air-to-Oil external oil cooler: When towing a heavy load in the desert heat, our 3.55 gears, big tires and big turbo w/ increased boost can cause the engine coolant to get hot. We installed the 51-row 'max tow' radiator which helped a lot, but the single biggest improvement we made to engine cooling was made by deleting the oem coolant-to-oil head exchanger (removing the water loop from the heat exchanger and radiator hose) and installing the oversized external air-to-oil cooler. there's 3 ways to install this, depending which IC you have and how you want to plumb the tstat...I'll be getting an installation article up that covers all of these options <side note: after comparing my logs to 4.10 and 3.73 trucks, I really want to swap in a set of 4.10's, maybe after SEMA i'll have some time>

-2-tube-intake: using a seperated dual intake design on the dyno (no 2->1 merge and no balance tube) it gains a bump in the lowend->midrange power, especially with the hood up.. however with the hood closed, the gains went away and it matched an AEM drop in filter in the stock airbox for power. the reason for this is obviously due to pulling in hot radiator-outlflow air. We are working on a solution which will maintain these powergains with the hood closed..

fueling: We've bench tested a few combinations of prototype fueling setups with our GDI partners. The most interesting thing in all of this is that the OEM intank fuel pump aka 'lift pump' flows *a lot* more than we realized. Most high performance aftermarket pumps tested were a downgrade and lost fuel/power. Right now we have 3 options on the table, and the first experiment moved so much more fuel that we had to revert back to stock to make our california trip in time.. we will start from scratch for the tune, and then start testing the other 2 options -- BTW everyone is back in AZ and the truck drove perfectly again

lots of other things being worked on right now, but i figure this is what most everyone wanted to get updated on. thanks, have a good week be back in a couple days

Great work Geoff! Get the fueling taken care of so I don't have to spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on trying to get an aluminum manifold made up to house aux injectors!

Hopefully that solution will work for my Flex as well so I can get rid of the aux fuel system. it would be nice to tune it all on the factory ECU.

Well. hmmmm.....not what I wanted to hear about the intake. But I do love the honesty. Just curious...what type of gains where you guys seeing with the hood up??

I'll patiently wait to see how the intake turns out.
