Default DA Corrected 13.95 only ... weather sucked.

Decided to run the truck today as it came fully loaded ... nothing removed. Race weight with me in it was 5,390 lbs on the scales at the track.

With high DA, hi temps, and hi humidity I couldn't make 13's ... gotta' wait until cooler weather, so, racing's over until cooler weather this Fall. Did get a good video and a 14.18 timeslip. DA corrected, I ran a 13.95, but, leaving the sig the same with no 13's timeslip ... only timeslips count, to me.

On 03/04/2012 I ran 14.030 @98.68 - 2.118 60'
DA Calculation correction = 14.004 @ 98.813

On 04/01/2012 (today) I ran 14.18 @ 96.18 - 2.130 60'
DA Calculated correction = 13.953 @ 97.937

DA Calculator used was at http://www.dragtimes.com/

So the time in your sig was rounded down and the speed was rounded up? Weren't you saying you were supposed to run 13.5s? Looks like your truck is a couple ticks slower now with the tune change. Is it just me or does the title of this thread make you laugh out loud. DA correction formulas are a paper racers dream.

they don't use corrected numbers in nhra... it's straight up. i always giggle at people that corrected their numbers. if you want the fast times, travel to the fast tracks.

Last time I checked, 14.030 rounds down to 14.0 not up to 14.1 and 98.68 rounds up to 99 ... not down to 98. If you've ran better with your Livernois tune and CAI only, post up. And I said I should get in to the mid-13's (13.749) with spare tire/wheel off, tailgate off and toolbox with tools off. I ran with everything on. So, I still believe it has it in it. If you've raced anything in your life, you know weight reduction and coooler/dryer weather improves your times.

Apparently someone didnt do well at rounding in middle school...

Not bad times, IMO, for a stock truck. Any plans for more upgrades?

I know how to round Jeb99ta. You obviously missed the joke. If you round the numbers in your sig to make your truck faster then why not post tge DA corrected numbers. Bothe numbers are still false. I've raced quite a bit and know what cool weather and good air mean. I've just never used those as excuses why my ride was slow. And 13.70s is still upper 13s, not mid. You'd be tge guy claiming low 13s if you ran a 13.49 haha. I'm glad I'm not tge only one laughing at this thread.

Jowee3.5 / Gimme11's - We all know you're ecoboost guys who always jump at the chance to bash 5.0 drivers. Post your times if you've ran faster times. My race weight is 5,390 lbs, so, not nearly as lightweight as you might say it is in other posts.

It is what it is and I won't be going back out until it cools down ... if I take it back out at all. I'll need a dependable truck to oull my new project car to the track next year. This Spring and Summer I'll be doing tires and 4-wheel-type accessories. 4-step wheel-to-wheel NFAB nerf bars were ordered yesterday.

Sig now reflects time to the 100th of a second for whatever it's worth. Round it up, down, sideways or not at all. I won't get much more out of the truck without removing **** from it and then, some would say it's 'cheating', so, I've decided I'm not going to remove anything.

Raced yesterday in stock form with nothing but a tune and CAI ... everything on the truck that came with it ... nothing more ... nothing less.
