I am looking into getting custom tunes for my truck, '12 Screw 5.0. I am probably going with an sct tuner and getting the custom tunes from either 5* or mpt. But I am also thinking about getting tunes from both. My question is what tunes are best for different styles of driving? So what would be best for daily driving? (5* 87 Eco, mpt?). Best for having "fun" every once in a while . (Mpt 93 or the 5*93).

I have done my research and seeing a lot of people say the 93mpt is the way to go for all out performance and 5 star the way to go for daily driving...any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok thanks! So you recommend 5* for a daily driver tune as well as all out performance tune?

MPT is a better performer, I preferred it over the 5*. If you're thinking about doing both I would buy the SCT from 5* with their tunes and get MPT's tunes later since they're 3 for $75 I believe. Unleashed is my personal favorite of the ones I have.

Mpt is good but 5star have very nice low end tork .
For sure i tow each day then for towing it s perfect.

Great thanks, I don't tow at all besides some tools in my bed...just looking for what tune is best for daily driver/city, and best for performance to have some fun every now and then. Thanks for your help!

I prefer my 5 star 87 tune. I am on my 3rd mpt and not really happy with the drivability.

5* 87 performance tune gets my vote. It revs and accelerates quicker and If I keep my foot out of it, I get 1-2 MPG better. Not to start the eco VS 5.0 crap but my 5.0 with this tune seems to feel like my stock 11 eco.
