Nice times.....I think they are in production phase of a downpipe.

I wonder what are some good methods to getting better times?

Putting it tow/haul mode until 3rd?
4wd drive then switch to 2wd drive after take off?
4lo on take off to 2wd?

prime8....did you try any of these? Also did you brake boost?

switching to 2wd during a run won't help. The front won't disengage until it's not under stress.

Specifically, when there is vacuum available. WOT pretty much eliminates that.

1. No. never heard of this one...
2. yes, but it didnt work.
3. this one scares me, lol. no.

and u better believe i stood on that brake, lol. 2wd is a balancing act. its very easy to lose traction on the boost w/ 235 wide tires... 4wd was a totally different story. that launched awesome. i wish now i would have taken the weight off, just because its a 150 mile round trip. but i could see my girl, who was being a trooper, was getting cold up in the stands.

i was chasing that 100 mph, instead of trying for lower et's. i only ran 2 of my 8 passes in 4wd.
