Truck manufacturers learned a long time ago that you can't just slap a car engine in a truck expecting it to do what a truck needs to do reliably day in and day out. It's the same reason the 6.2L in the F-150 is more powerful than the 6.2L found in Superduty that is rated to tow more weight along with the heavier truck. There are even two different power ratings for the 6.2L in the Superduties depending on the GVWR.
Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. Ford HAS to assume some idiot is going to purchase an 5.0L F150 with 3.73 gears and tow a 10,000lb trailer everyday with it even though said idiot should have bought an Diesel F250/350 for daily towing like that. Ford NEEDS the 5.0l to at least survive the 60,000 mile warranty period under those conditions. I don't think the higher revving mustang version could reliably do that. This is also why NEITHER the 5.0L OR the 3.5L ecoboost are in the Super Duty line as NEITHER are HEAVY DUTY truck engines.

Yeah but you DID modify the heater hoses and such, I took it to mean you just popped the cover on with no mods.

Still looks awesome.

O' Ok, I thought you all meant the cover. Yea, you have to do one or the other or both, the hoses and cover. And lets not forget a little Vacuuming too. Thanks for the comment.
