With my catless pipes you can definitely feel the added tq off idle. Spools faster for sure.

I agree. Between idle and 2000rpm is much quicker and smoother. My truck takes off the line so much smoother with the offroad pipe.

If you looking for more sound just replace stock muffler with straight pipe and leave stock resonator on. That will give u some sound and wont cost u arm and leg. IMO that set up sounds like heartthrob cat back. If you want louder than that , remove the resonator. Once the the resonator is off you will hear some drone at cruising speed but not much. My exhaust cost me 100 bucks.

I have the Solo MR400 on my 5.0 and love it, the fitment and build quality is worth every bit of the steep price of 700+. Get the Mach-X, you won't be disappointed........

The Solo is said to have no drone on the cat back systems. Does the Stainless Works have any drone on the Catback system? I am in the same boat as the OP.

True cat back dual exhaust with Magnaflows or Flowmasters will give you the same numbers HP/torque wise and will cost you around $300 installed at your local muffler shop. I never could understand why these high dollar exhaust system with a fancy name on them sell. Maybe Im too old school and besides who is looking underneath your truck besides a mechanic or the oil drain tech?

Before you start talking about drone know this...there will be increased volume in the cab if the exhaust is not stock. The Solo system has a jpipe that does nothing for interior volume. I never believed it and really don't now that my buddy has it on his 5.0. His exhaust sounds phenomenal on the exterior but the inside is very loud. If you change downpipes and have no resonator then the interior volume will go up. If a manufacturer says otherwise then they are lying.

I don't have any drone with my SW S tube muffler catback. Louder yes, drone no.

There is a distint difference between increased interior volumne and drone!!!
The jpipe is for drone not the increased overall sound

I would love to compare my 100 exhaust vs any 400 + dollar exhaust. I bet there is not much difference between them.
